Our work: Breakaway supports adults with learning disabilities and those on the autistic spectrum to find employment.
Our services
All our services are tailored to meet individual needs. We do this by:
- Assessing the skills, aspirations and support requirements of each individual.
- Supporting the whole job application process. This includes searching for a job, filling in an application form and support at an interview.
- Providing on site job support or training.
- Monitoring work progress until independence is reached.
Where necessary we will provide travel training to and from work. Confidence can then be built so that the route can be managed independently. Our services provide benefit advice and guidance with ‘better off in work' calculations where helpful.
