Autism Sussex
Location: Bognor Regis, West Sussex, Hastings & Battle, East Sussex
Our work: We provide care, education, residential and recreational opportunities for adults with autistic spectrum disorders.
Our services
Residential - we support individuals in a wide range of living environments. Our outreach service helps people develop skills and confidence in all aspects of life. They can then choose whether to live at home with their families, in supported accommodation, independently in the community, or in residential care.
Education - we provide a comprehensive selection of training courses on autism and related disorders, delivered at our own training facility or in-house. We also offer bespoke courses.
Day services - we have three resource centres: Battle, Hastings and Bognor Regis. These provide training in social and independent living skills. There are opportunities to enjoy physical, therapeutic, educational, leisure and outdoor activities.
Employment - the Cafe des Arts in Hastings provides supported employment for people with autistic spectrum disorders.
Aspergers Support Group - this is open to adults of all ages with high-functioning autism or Aspergers Syndrome. The main aim of the group is to provide individuals with an opportunity to meet and talk to others who have the same diagnosis.
