Brief Description of our work:
Grace Eyre is a charity supporting people with learning disabilities to make the most of opportunities in their communities. We provide person centred services to 200 people, employ 80 staff and are supported by over 50 volunteers. We work across East and West Sussex and Brighton and Hove.
Our Services:
Active Lives offer a broad range of activities throughout the week to support adults with learning disabilities to develop their individual strengths and achieve their goals and aspirations.
Shared Lives supports people with learning disabilities to have the living arrangements they want (including living with a family) and to participate within their local community.
Choices work alongside people with learning disabilities offering safe and perosnalised support at home and in the community.
Employment Support provides support for people with learning disabilities to develop pre employment skills, find an apporpriate employer or voluntary placement and provide ongoing help with travelling to and from work as well as on the job training.
Travel Buddy Scheme supports people with learning disabilities to travel safely and independently on public transport across the city.
